How to Apply:

There are two main ways to put Pro Tect® Liquid Mask Tub Protection onto a tub or shower basin. You can paint or roll it on or use an airless sprayer. The most efficent way is to use an airless sprayer with over 2,500 psi. The Tub Protection Liquid Mask is a water-based product, so no chemicals are needed to flush it out of the sprayer. Know a painter? Borrow his. Open the 1 gallon or 5 gallon bucket, put the sprayer tub in and spray like you would paint your walls.

If you want apply Pro Tect® Liquid Mask Tub Protection by painting or rolling it on, there are some tricks and a "must do" to have success at protecting your tub. Make sure to apply 2 coats. It's important to apply a thick coat, which is essential when applying by hand by hand-painting and rolling. You can get it thick enough on the flat surfaces, but the sides will run if you put it on too heavy. First, put a light coat. Come back when it has dried and apply another coat.
